HEPATITIS B
Hepatitis B is a serious inflammation of the liver caused by a virus. Symptoms like fatigue, apathy, illness or gut pain appear two to six months after infection. Other symptoms may include a high temperature, yellowish skin tone and whites of the eyes, darkish urine and light-coloured faeces.
People are usually infected through the blood, but infection through cum, pre-cum, vaginal fluid and sometimes even through spit, if it contains blood, is also possible. Hepatitis B is very infectious. You can catch it through vaginal, oral and anal sex without a condom (both the giving and receiving partners), through superficial contacts between penis and anus (dry humping), through sharing sex toys without condom or protection, through French kissing if the mucus membrane in your mouth is damaged, and even through sharing a toothbrush or a razorblade.
There is a vaccine that provides lifelong protection. You can always visit Boysproject or Ghapro for a free vaccination.
