Like in most other European countries, prostitution is not officially regulated by law,
but it is not an offence as such. What is an offence is recruiting, encouraging or forcing people into prostitution. . Exploiting prostitutes is also punishable, even with their consent. As well as running a brothel or renting rooms to prostitutes. Intermediaries can also be punished. (E.g.: loaning your car to a prostitute so they can drive to a client).
